Your student has in an agenda book in which he/she writes his/her homework in every day.  Please check the agenda book and initial it after your student has finished his/her work to ensure that all was completed.   This agenda book is a great communication tool so don’t hesitate to write me a note in it.  Even if the note says, “please call me”.  I will also initial the book each day.  

Weekly Word Sort packets:

1. Cut out words and record sort

2. Use 2 words in each sentence or use 10 words in a story

3.  Phonics practice worksheet

4.  Student picks 20 words from the sort and puts them in alphabetical order

5.  Parent/Guardian reads words to student asking him/her to put the word in the right column.

Students will have a week to complete this packet.  The due date will vary.  Please check the cover sheet to verify the due date.  The students will NOT be tested on these words in a spelling test.

Reading and Math homework will vary from night to night. Please make sure you check the agenda book to see if your student has an assignment for these subject areas.

I will post test dates for Social Studies and Science on this site when we are ready for assessments.
