About Mrs. Jackson

Published by mrsjackson

My name is Charlene Jackson.  I am a 1994  graduate of Wilmington College where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.   After graduation, I worked in a few different Early Childhood settings before coming to the Colonial School District in 1999.  I began working with fourth grade at Eisenberg Elementary in the fall of 1999.  When the school year finished in 2000, I moved to Wilmington Manor Elementary as a first grade teacher.  Once Colonial reconfigured the elementary schools, in 2000, to become K-5 schools, I moved to third grade. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching the third grade.

I am kept very busy at home with my two boys, Aaron 9 and Evan 7.  Aaron is in fourth grade at Southern Elementary.  Evan will begin first grade  there next school year.  Mr.  Jackson is also a teacher.  He teaches math for seventh grade at George Read Middle School.

In my spare time, I love to scrapbook, camp, and spend time with my family.  We enjoy having family game night at least once a month that includes Mr. Jackson’s entire family.  It is a blast.

Please remember, the door to our classroom is ALWAYS open.
